Laundry Worker

The main duties and responsibilities consist of accepting laundry from customers, sorting and weighing, preparation for washing, loading and unloading washing machines, drying, folding, ironing, ironing assistance, and packaging of laundry. Also, you will be responsible for quality assurance of washed laundry and maintaining a clean workplace. The workplace is divided into the following zones:

• Dirty area – sorting of dirty incoming laundry (Uren side)

• Towel Machine (Frottemaskin)

• Hanging of duvets, covers, large tablecloths (Stor rulle)

• Passing pillowcases, small tablecloths through dryer/ironing machine (Kombi rulle)

• Hanging work clothes on hangers (Oppheng metric)

• Packing

Requirements:

• Must be able to work all shifts

• Physical fitness and motivation

• Knowledge of English or Norwegian

• Previous laundry experience would be an advantage.
